Ideas for Spring Break

Are you one of those people who always gets excited for spring break, but then end up bored? I asked some people what they were doing; some had plans such as going to Mexico, while others plan to do “nothing.” Well, here is the article to come to your rescue. In order to break the boredom, have activities in mind.

With all the snow, sunbathing, outdoor swimming, and gardening might be out of the question. Don’t worry, you could continue winter activities such as snowmobiling, sledding, and making snow ice cream (YUM!). For all of you who have missed winter in the last few years, now is your chance to do all your favorite activities in the snow and cold. Have fun outside in the snow this “spring” break.

Is cold not your thing? Completely understandable, and don’t worry you can have fun while avoiding the snow. Perhaps you could have a sleepover, roast s’mores over the stove (or in the microwave), or perhaps even go on a tropical vacation (although that takes some planning). If you are missing summer, make your s’mores inside with the warmth of your cozy socks and pajamas; use a microwave or stove. Perhaps, you want a dessert other than s’mores. In which case, you can find a recipe online and bake to you heart’s (or stomach’s) content. Inviting friends over can definitely lighten the mood and mean fun; plan on having friends over, and extend their stay overnight for even more fun. If you are lucky you could experience spring by going to a place that doesn’t have snow, this time of year, like Hawaii. However, you need some resources, and planning ahead of time helps. If you can’t go this year, consider recreating the tropics in your bedroom!

Obviously, when most people think of  spring break they don’t think five feet of snow, but if you like snow take advantage of it. If you don’t like snow, have fun doing indoor activities during break.
