2024 Halloweekend could be considered an epidemic of extravagance. Celebrities having upwards of 5 costumes for one singular holiday! Outrageous! Most of these costumes are incredibly niche. An example of this could be popular music artist Ed Sheeran dressing up as the AI version of himself as the gay little monkey in the Apple store. Another costume I loved was Violet Chachki going as a bedazzled squidward. I think it’s so fun to see all these celebrities having fun playing dress up. However, in our school, it’s a different story. Almost no one dresses up for Halloween anymore. I mean come on, I think you guys can come up with at least some kind of costume, let’s bring back Halloween in 2025.
For celebs on the other hand, it’s more than just a halloween costume. All the fashion girlies lineup every Halloween to see what extravagant costumes these A-Listers will come up with. One of my personal favorites this year was Cardi B going as the iconic Jessica rabbit. Popular internet personality Jake Shane went as Chappell Roan, and everybody’s favorite Brats had some very fun costumes. Troye went as the staged paparazzi pictures of Addison Rae reading Britney Spears’ memoir, while Charli went as a character from Rocky Horror Picture Show. Although, the main event of halloween is Heidi Klum’s annual halloween party.
We listened to an Insider interview with Heidi and she said that the Halloween party puts a great deal of stress on her. I can imagine with everything to plan, the cocktails to be made, the seating charts to be arranged. I mean, her husband doesn’t seem to be contributing anything other than being her costume side piece. While we don’t have all of the inside scoop, we do know that whoever didn’t get an invite to Heidi’s party is a low life! Oops, sorry JLo.

She compares this party to the Met Gala and says she’s similar to Anna Wintour, having to keep her guest list in check, and having to disappoint some of her friends. Although Heidi might think she’s like Anna, all Vogue fans know she could never come up with anything as good as Naomi cover of 1988.
