Natalie Sieminski, a fellow journalism classmate is a senior this year at Seward High. In her free time during the winter, she loves to go snowboarding at Alyeska; in the summer, she enjoys hiking and going to lakes.
Some fun facts about Natalie are she’s the only red head in her family and her favorite animal is a wolf.
Natalie enjoys her time playing on the varsity basketball team. She says, “I like that we are all really close and that we work together as a team to get better.”
The Super Sick Seahawk News team is another thing Natalie is a part of for journalism. She records and interviews students around the school and asks them questions based on certain topics. Natalie says, “I like being able to be a part of the Super Sick Seahawk News team because it’s a way to get to know the students around our school a little bit better.”
After graduating high school, she plans on going to college in Anchorage for cosmetology. Natalie will miss the teachers and some of her friends she will be leaving behind when she graduates. She will also miss the close community here at Seward High School.
Advice for freshmen from Natalie is to “show up to school and do your homework. Try your best not to procrastinate.”
