About Me: Sophia Dow

While watching cross country you may have seen Sophia Dow racing by. Sophia (Sophie) Bethene Dow is a sophomore at Seward High School. She is 15 and is involved in a bunch of school activities. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, reading, running, sleeping, and music. Sophie’s favorite school subject is Language Arts.

Sophie has been in cross country since last year and was on junior varsity, but once the season was ending, she got bumped up from JV to varsity. She made the comment that being on varsity is very stressful, but she loves it.

An interesting-funny fact about Sophie was that in fifth grade she played the flute, but her teacher did not think she was good. When the recital came around, her teacher asked her to act like she was playing and not actually play.

 When Sophie gets out of school, she is still indecisive about her career for the future but would love to live in Canada for no reason just to live there.
